Cookies
Cookie policy
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. This page lists what ByeToEMI stores today and what would change if advertising is switched on later.
Last updated: 1 September 2026
What is stored today
ByeToEMI currently sets no cookies of its own for analytics, profiling or advertising. What the site does use is your browser's local storage, on your device only:
- Theme preference — a single value remembering whether you chose light or dark mode. It is never sent to a server and you can clear it by clearing site data.
Your loan figures are not stored in cookies or local storage. They live in the page while you use it and are gone when you close the tab, unless you deliberately copy a share link, in which case the values you chose are inside the link you copied.
Essential and hosting technologies
The site is served through a hosting and content-delivery provider. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, that provider processes technical request data such as your IP address, user agent and requested URL, and it may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing. These are required for the site to work and are not used to build an advertising profile by ByeToEMI.
Analytics cookies
No third-party analytics or measurement cookies are in use at the time of the last update shown above. If analytics is added later, this page will name the provider, describe what it measures and state how you can opt out, before the change goes live.
Advertising cookies
Advertising is not enabled on this site at present. If Google AdSense is enabled in future, Google and its partner vendors may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve, personalise, cap and measure advertisements, and to detect invalid traffic. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
- You can review and change personalised advertising settings at Google My Ad Center.
- Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services in its partner sites notice.
- Third-party vendor cookies used for advertising across many sites can also be managed at optout.aboutads.info.
Consent
Where consent is legally required — for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — advertising and analytics technologies will only be used with consent collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. That platform, once installed, will be the place where you accept, reject or change your choices at any time.
Until such a platform is in place, no advertising or analytics cookies are set, so there is nothing to consent to. This site deliberately does not display a banner that claims to manage consent while doing nothing.
Controlling cookies in your browser
- All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data, per site or globally, in their privacy or site-settings screens.
- Clearing site data for this domain removes the stored theme preference; the site will simply fall back to your system's light or dark setting.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies set by the hosting provider may prevent pages from loading correctly.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated whenever the technologies in use change, and the date at the top will change with it. Questions can go to janardhanan97@gmail.com.
